Shades of Morning by Marlo Schalesky

This book was provided for review by Waterbrook Multnomah here's a quote I found on the website . . . Shades of Morning is magical! Full of the wonder of love, true love. It surprised me on every page. I loved it!” - Deborah Raney, author of Almost Forever and the ClayburnNovels
I couldn't say it better. I loved this book. If I had my ratings system established this book would definitely get a 5 plus stars. I couldn't put it down. As mentioned in the above quote it was lovely.

A little about the story:
Marnie Wittier has life just where she wants it. Quiet. Peaceful. No drama. (from the back cover). Suddenly in a moment her quiet peaceful life suddenly becomes turned upside down when she receives a letter telling her that her sister has died leaving Marnie the sole guardian of her 15 year old nephew Emmit. (who Marnie didn't know existed) Marnie ends up having only a few days to prepare to receive her nephew and when he arrives Marnie is surprised to find out the boy has Downs syndrome. And if things couldn't be worse Marnie is forced to deal with her past when she has to begin communicating and working with her sisters estate lawyer Taylor who just happens to have a past with Marnie.
Shades of Morning is a beautifully told story. It is a sweetly beautiful love story. It is a beautiful story of faith, grace and redemption.

Here's what the author says: You’ll find threads of faith and wonder in all of my books. My latest release, Shades of Morning, is the third of my Love Stories With a Twist!. I think you’ll be captivated by this story of fun, quirky Marnie who finds herself the guardian of a Down syndrome teen. Come, meet Emmit … and fall in love!
