Actually I'd have to say Sarah Fox and Marley are winners. Of Spice and Men is a 5 star read!
Dig in and turn the pages in this fun and fast paced Cozy little mystery. Of Spice and Men is book 3 in the yummy pancake mystery series featuring Marley the owner of the Flip Side Pancake House.
The Flip Side is a fun and yummy place I could almost smell the pancakes and other creations. I can't wait to try a couple of the recipes that are included in the book.
Not that it is a negative thing but I wish I had read the other two books in the series. In book 3 Marley is settling into a romantic relationship. Everything is all cozy and sizzling with the new boyfriend Brett until way too much of his attention turns to his ex.
Alyssa is the gorgeous and sultry ex who happens to come to town to shoot a movie and gets herself accused of murder.
Marley has to put down the pancake turner and do some snooping to clear Alyssa's name and get her packing it back to Hollywood and out of town!
Of Spice and Men was a fun read and kept me turning the pages. I enjoyed meeting Marley and reading my first book in the Pancake House Series. I am definitely putting the the other books in the series on my to read list!
