New Hobby I’m trying (or want to try)
Today I'll share my newest Hobby. I have waaay too many.
My creative side isn't normally shared here so I am glad this is today's topic. This is my first time joining this challenge!
My newest Hobby is making Junk Journals and paper crafting.
I actually spend more time looking at and thinking about Junk Journals than actually making but maybe some day.
Tag I made for a Vintage Button Challenge
Last fall I found some groups on Facebook and I love the creative
challenges and support I have found with these great people!
Another tag with burlap, lace, fabric and a paper doiley
I love this new hobby. It keeps me busy when I'm not reading!

What are Junk Journals? I don't think I've ever heard of them. I love paper crafting. Your tags are really pretty!
ReplyDeleteI'd never heard of Junk Journals either. Is it safe to assume they're called that because they're made from recycled or reused materials?
ReplyDeleteMy post.
I've never heard of Junk Journals, but anything to do with journals sounds cool to me. Those tags are pretty!
ReplyDeleteI will have to do a post on J.J. they are sometimes made from Junk. But most time not. They are a place you can save memories and a place to write your thoughts or lists like a planner. The tags I've made are to be used in a journal. The backs have lines usually for writing on . Thanks everyone for visiting!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to know more about this Junk Journaling. This looks like such fun! And I love the tags you created. I love vintage and burlap. Well done! Hope you keep sharing these creations with us.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to know more as well... I think you SHOULD do a post about them! What you've made are lovely. My post is here: https://jhthomas.blogspot.com/2020/01/wednesday-weekly-blogging-challenge-new.html
ReplyDeleteJust Googled junk journals and that sounds so creative and fun! I find great, but missing pages or tattered bits, paper and cloth finds at the thrift store often, so this would be a fun way to keep/reuse them.
ReplyDeleteMy WWBC was on gaming, I'm going to commit more time and effort to improvement this year
I love the tags. What a great thing to do as a hobby.
ReplyDeleteThat's a cute hobby that sounds super creative. Those pics look so interesting!
