This is a 'new to me author.  I am glad for the opportunity to read this advanced copy provided by Net Galley and Harlequin. 

From page one I was turning the pages. 

The story begins in a dramatic situation  that turns into a life and death situation for the main character Coulter/Colt. 

Adding Romance to the Suspense it's his ex that he has to go to for a chance at saving his life. 

I was really enjoying the pages but for some reason when Marena's brother, her father and Colt's mom and grandfather are woven into the story I just felt Joy. 

I enjoyed all the characters. 

I enjoyed the plot. 

And the Happy ending. 

I will certainly be following author of Lisa Dod.
