I am honored to be one of the first to read Book 2 in Jackie Laytons new series. 

Let's meet Emma Justice . . . 

Emma Justice is a thirty-eight-year-old widow who has just become an empty nester. She loves her hometown of Lutz, Texas, and she knows most of the locals. Emma has red hair and freckles and often wears hats to protect her skin. She enjoys time alone growing flowers, but she also enjoys Saturdays at the farmers market seeing people. Emma uses a journal to keep notes about her garden. She records what she plants and where she plants different flowers. If something doesn’t work, she adds it to her notes. This is also how she solves murders. She makes a list of suspects, clues, alibis, and red herrings.
