After much hard work, and some challenging clients, it finally looks like they're well on their way to success. Newly single, Julie's trying not to envy the happiness enjoyed by her wedding clients. Murder At The Marlowe Club by Kate Parker-Spotlight-Great Escapes Tour

About the book
A corpse in a corset. A dangerous gambling den. A perilous path between safety and peril.
London, 1905. Leading milliner Emily Gates’ illegal shortcut through a private park in the rain brought her straight to a scantily clothed corpse. Then her route took her straight into the hands of the indefatigable Lady Kaldaire, who recognized the body as a relative of her longtime friend, the Duchess of Wallingford. Lady Kaldaire blackmailed Emily before to find Lord Kaldaire’s killer. Why not this murderer, too?
Emily has plenty of reasons why not, but finding links between her father’s nefarious family of crooks and conmen and the debauchery of the secretive Marlowe Club involves her in the investigation led by the handsome Inspector Russell of Scotland Yard. Emily discovers more than she expects about the licentious world of the corpse through her aristocratic customers, including Georgia, heroine of the Victorian Bookshop Mysteries, now the Duchess of Blackford.
Are the scandal rags correct, or has the victim been maligned by a mastermind who’ll stop at nothing to gain everything?
This is a historical cozy mystery with no graphic violence, sex, or foul language. Just exciting action, mysterious events, and surprising endings.

And I thought
Another great read by Sophia Summers I have to say
this author continues to amaze me by providing clean sweet romances with new and different stories and plots.

Just when you think your gonna read a typical told again story your surprised again.

Just when I expected another woman or beau standing in the wings to wreck havoc...

Just when I thought the prince's family would disapprove...

Opp's TMI

I enjoyed this one.  The characters all of them were fun and dearing except for  a couple but of course you gotta have the guy that tries too hard for the girls attention.

Prince Arlo and Amara are just a great couple.  I enjoyed their childhood memories

I enjoyed the Princes and Amara's desire to help the poverty stricken people of their country.

If you love great characters and a good 'ole romance you'll want to get into this series.  Each  is a stand alone.  Jump in anywhere.

I received a complimentary copy.

Legacy Reclaimed by Robin Patchen-Book Review

About the book

She’ll risk anything to save the company her parents built. He’ll risk anything to save her. Someone will stop at nothing to make sure they both fail.

Chelsea Hamilton spent her life preparing to run the international clothing business her parents started, but she’s still caught off guard when she learns of her mother’s untimely death. Chelsea returns to New Hampshire, buries her mother, and prepares to take over the floundering business. When a stranger attempts to kill her, she realizes somebody doesn’t want her to inherit her legacy.
Private Investigator Dylan O’Donnell spends his time searching for lost teens. He doesn’t know what to think of the beautiful woman seeking his services. Hers isn’t the kind of case he’s accustomed to handling, and she isn’t the kind of client he quit his steady job to help, but something about the woman pulls at him. She’s in danger, and he can’t turn her away. But if he blows this very public case, his floundering business might not survive.
Together, they dig into her family's secrets. The closer they get to the truth, the closer they grow to one another. Can Chelsea save the legacy her parents fought to leave her? Can Dylan save Chelsea from the enemies determined to see her dead?
And I thought
A fast paced page turning ride.  Legacy Reclaimed was hard to put down.
I love romantic suspense and read any that I can get my hands on.  I love a good thriller/ suspense.
Robin Patchen gives the reader a romantic suspense with a twisting plot and with main characters that have faith in God and trust in him.
The main characters Chelsea and Dylan each have had bad experiences and sorrow in their lives but have faith to overcome and allow themselves to fall in love.
The only problem is staying alive and a step ahead of the bad guy(s) and figuring out who is out to sabotage her family company and kill Chelsea.
If you love fast paced suspenseful and believable thrillers you'll really enjoy this one.

I received a complimentary.
My review will appear on retail sites, Good Reads and social media.

A Crafter Quilts a Crime-Spotlight-Great Escapes Tour

About the book
Perfect for fans of Betty Hechtman and Maggie Sefton, Holly Quinn’s third Handcrafted mystery aspires to wrap you in its warmth.
Community Craft proprietor Sammy Kane must piece together a patchwork of clues when a “live” mannequin ends up stone-cold dead.
Snowcapped pines and glittery dusted sidewalks adorn tranquil Heartsford, Wisconsin, while residents cuddle beneath heirloom quilts in front of cozy wood fires. But come the next day, the below-zero temperatures won’t keep the locals away from Heartsford’s annual Fire & Ice event. To boost customer traffic at Community Craft’s one-night-only sale, Samantha “Sammy” Kane persuades a few of the craftspeople who sell their wares at the store to participate in a live mannequin window display contest.
Local quilter Wanda Wadsworth emerges as a favorite to win the contest, as she manages to not move a muscle for an unusual amount of time. Onlookers outside the window try everything to get her to crack–tapping on the glass and making funny faces–but nothing disrupts Wanda’s stillness. When the eagle-eyed spectators realize Wanda isn’t breathing, a blanket of grief and fear descends upon the wintry town.
Detective Liam Nash can’t seem to piece the clues together. Fortunately, Sammy’s cousin, Heidi, and her sister, Ellie, are on hand to reconvene their detective team, S.H.E. They set out to solve Wanda’s untimely death before the case grows as icy as a sub-zero Wisconsin winter. But they are all too aware that the killer is too close for comfort.

And others are saying
I loved that this was a group of sleuths, which is becoming a thing in a lot of the series that I have been reading lately. It makes it more interesting having different perspectives. And more people to get in trouble too!

BonBon With The Wind by Dorothy St. James Great Escapes Tour

About the book
Join Penn and Stella on their latest adventure!
There’s a legend in the Sea Islands that before a hurricane hits the Gray Lady can be seen walking down the beach warning of doom. Penn doesn’t believe in such silly stories, but she does believe weather forecasters. A powerful hurricane is heading their way. Everyone on the island of Camellia Beach is busy boarding up windows and securing valuables to upper levels of buildings. Joe Davies, a local treasure hunter with an unquenchable sweet tooth, claims to have seen the Gray Lady walking toward him just that morning and is terrified for his life.
After the storm passes everyone returns to survey the damage. As Penn walks her little dog Stella on the beach, she finds Joe Davies’ body washed up onshore. Not only that, it looks as if an exploding transformer caused Joe’s seaside shack to burn to the ground. Did the Gray Lady claim another victim? Many on the island believe that is exactly what happened.
Penn is sure there’s another explanation. She follows the clues and hints of lost gold to discover that the truth behind the treasure hunter’s death is as much of a maze as the boating channels winding their way through the local marshes

And I thought
A fun Cozy read with some great characters.

Again!

Joining the challenge again. Last week was so fun.  Thank you new friends for stopping by.  I am device challenged because my computer broke and I have to use the tablet but, I will try to write some Junk Journal posts on the weekend.

And now on with challenge . . .

Today’s topic is: Best Couple from a Book, TV or Movie

Just Released

Starting with a book because I am just lovin' this Couple and
their series.

The couple is Murphy and Jessica Faraday Thornton and their series is The Thorny Rose Series by Lauren Carr.

This series is a spin off from the Mac Faraday Series (Jessica's dad)

Jessica and Murphy just exude romance.  They just get me.  The banter and the Romance just oozes off the page.  And, all with closed bedroom doors.  Lauren Carr is a master at story telling.

This is a fabulous series (all of them are) that you have to check out.

Favorite Movie Couple

Don't gasp but I just loved this couple and this series.  It got a bit crazy well actually alot crazy but the romance was popcorn and wine worthy.
