It has been awhile since I have read a book.
Honestly I was looking for this kind of read.
Author Jessica R Patch hit a 'Home Run' for me!
As described above by Love Inspired the book is filled with courage, danger and faith.
It is also a page turning read.
The main characters are more than likeable. They tug at your heart.
They are sweet and kind.
Him Duke a little 'rough around the edges. He is FBI. A few personal struggles.
She 'Brigette' sweet, vulnerable and tough. She is a cop!
The plot provides a page turning fast paced read that is unique. I have never read a plot like this.
Which is fresh.
Many books I can see a resembelance to others.
Not here.
Although this title is part of a series it is written as a stand alone title.
There are sub characters in the book that are the main characters in book 1.
The author does as an excellent job of bringing them into the plot.
I look forward to reading more in this series.
