About the book
And I thought
The cover speaks sweet Christmas romance. The pages give the reader much more! I was pleasantly surprised. I had no idea about this book I was enchanted and I was spellbound.
It is easy to say that Her Christmas Chance is a 5 star.
But please 'get' what this book is about. Beyond a beautifully sweet romance; the story is about love, forgiveness and redemption.
There is an underlying message about grace and forgiveness.
There is also an underlying story line about child abuse. I would not call the story graphic but it is close to enough to cause someone to have triggers. I caution readers.
With that said. Her Christmas Chance is a beautifully written love story. It is sweet. The bedroom scenes are sweet.
There is a little humor. The 'devil' cat who has a reputation in the neighbor is only loved by sweet Bella. Who btw is just an precious leading lady. She is a very loving person. And easily falls for Chance. She accepts him for who he is. She accepts him for who he 'was'.
Even though Chance is slow to tell his history he comes across
as a good guy that has a past.
If you are looking for a great Christmas read do not pass on
Her Christmas Chance.
Besides being a sweet romance Her Christmas Chance shares with the reader the 'real meaning of Christmas. Beyond love and family it shares about God's plan for redemption.
The book ends with a beautifully written epilogue that is unlike any I have ever read. The epilogue speaks to the child abuse and is written by the person that is the abuser. Not only is a beautifully written admission it is also a beautiful written presentation of the Gospel.

About the book
Opposites attract and sparks fly in the delightful small town of Christmas Creek.
Holly Jolly lives for Christmas. It’s the only time of the year, as far as she’s concerned.
Gordon Gills doesn’t need a reason to hate the holiday season. He doesn’t see the point.
Gordon returns to the mansion he inherited and finds Holly making a mess with her Christmas decorations. Unfortunately, his great-aunt’s will stipulates that he must make merry every Christmas if he wants to keep his inheritance.
Holly is determined to infect the grouchy Gordon with every dose of Christmas cheer she can muster and show him what Christmas is really about.
Will Gordon prevail and turn Holly into a Grinch, or will a sprinkling of Christmas magic show Gordon that there’s no fighting love, especially when it’s wrapped up in a gorgeous redheaded package of jolly holly?
