Knot Of The World by Mary Marks-Great Escapes Tour

About the book
Quilter Martha Rose must patch together the clues to solve the murder of a cult leader in the California mountains . . .

Has Martha’s fellow quilter and dear friend Birdie Watson become unraveled? Birdie and her new husband have decided to join the Mystical Feather Society, a spiritist group living on a commune in the mountains of Ojai, California. Before her free-spirited friend makes a huge mistake, Martha organizes a surprise visit to check out the commune. While white-robed members conduct a seancĂ© in a glass yurt, their leader—Royal St. Germain—is nowhere to be found . . . until, that is, Martha and her friends discover him shot in their Winnebago. Now Martha must track down the killer and debunk the cult—before it’s bye bye Birdie
And I thought
I have had the chance to read several in this series that is filled with a cast of endearing quirky characters that make the series fun to read.

Martha Rose has a charming character that has everyone including members of law enforcement who step up and watch her back and help her out even though she's only an amateur sleuth.

Martha is always ready to help a friend in trouble.  And in trouble is where her friend Birdie and her husband Denver may be heading when they get involved with a cult.

Before Martha can convince Birdie and Denver to take things slow the Spiritual Leader of the cult is whacked and things go haywire.

Martha and her group of quilting friends come to the rescue to dig up the secets and save the day.

I enjoy the covers of the books in this series.  Each cover depicts a quilt that is mentioned or highlighted in the book.

If your a quilter and love a good Cozy mystery check out this series.

Honestly the whole cult and spiritualism part of this book didn't 'get me' but I love the characters and Mary Marks spins/weaves and stitches a great story.

I received a complimentary copy.
My review will be posted on retail sites and Good Reads.
