Waves of Doubt by Nancy Mehl with Shawn Layle My Review

About the book

Virginia is a scholar of the Vineyard history as well as a recluse. The island is abuzz when she books a library lecture with a local eccentric. The evening of the event Virginia is a no show. The valuable museum artifacts in her possession are also missing. As Priscilla delves into Virginia's mystery another puzzle emerges involving a cemetery.

And I thought

What a fun page turner!  This is the first chance I have had to read the work of Co Authors Nancy Mehl and Shawn Layle.   What a team they are!  A Mother/Daughter in Law no less.

Together they wive a story/plot that kept me on the edge of my seat.

I went fr wondering if the missing historian was in hiding, abducted or well surely not . . .

The cover is great and drew me to my own conclusions.  Did she ended falling in the ocean or maybe she was pushed!

I enjoy the mystery revolving the disappearance of Virginia and the Chicken Ladies artifacts.

There are lots of twists and turns and subplots that keep you guessing.

I loved the island locale and the locals you meet.

All the mysteries get solved in the end.

I especially like that authors included a recipe which I will be trying soon.

I learned when I received the ARC that the book is published by Guideposts.

My review will appear on Amazon and Good Reads.
