Canal Days Calamity by Jamie Blair-Great Escapes Tour-Book Review/Giveaway

About the book (provided by Great Escapes Tours)
Cameron Cripps-Hayman is taken aback when she stumbles upon another murdered neighbor, this time behind her sister’s shop, Dog Diggity. The timing couldn’t be worse, as there’s only a week left before the store’s grand opening during Canal Days, the biggest festival of the year.
When the police arrest her handyman, Cameron knows they’ve got the wrong suspect, so the Metamora Action Agency sets their sights on cracking the case. With one solved murder under their belts, how hard could a second be?
With a flood warning and a murderer on the loose threatening the start of Canal Days, can Cameron and her crew save the town’s annual dog and pony show from being canceled?
And I thought
Just my kind of read!  I love a good cozy.  I especially love one that has a super dog as one of the characters.  Or even better a dog show and a horse show.  I am smitten.

Well first things first again.  The cover got me.  And then the description a murder just before the start of a Dog and Pony Show.

Dogs/Ponys/Horses my favorites of God's creation.  I love a good horse/pony show!   Just the description and cover got me going and ready to read!

And then I turned a few pages.  And well I was swept away into a fast paced ride along with Cameron as she races along to solve the murder and save the day.

Cameron is a fun and like able character that wastes no time to round up some help and crack the case and save the day/dog/pony show!

I loved the warm and cozy town.

A bit of humor follows the plot giving the reader more than just a who dun it.

I am adding to Canal Days Calamity and the preceding book
Deadly Dog Days to my book shelf.

I received a complimentary copy from Great Escapes Tours.
