And I thought
I couldn't wait to get to the end. All that cupcake talk has mean wanting to bake. And the recipes sound so good.
The reading was good! I enjoyed this story. I enjoyed the manicharacters they were silly, savy, and just plain like-a-able.
Although I did have a hard time keeping the girls straight and the boyfriends too.
So I figured out Callie is the college professor. Anna is her business partner and co-owner of the cupcake shop. And there is Kristie who works at the bakery but has ties to an urban youth center.
The girls have hunky I can't keep straight boyfriends either. A police detective, a fireman and a gang force cop who are all a step away anytime there is an emergency at the bakery.
As the girls begin to dig for clues it doesn't take them long to find a few suspects.
There are some twists and turns and a bit of a shocker at the end
D. E. Haggerty has a new fan of this fun cozy series.
My review will appear on retail sites, Good Reads and promoted on social media.
