Belinda Blake and the Wolf in Sheep's Clothing-Great Escapes Review/Giveaway

About the book
Exotic pet-sitter Belinda Blake is nervous about her new job at the White Pine Wolf Preserve, but it turns out that the care and feeding of wild carnivores may be the least dangerous part of the gig . . .
Pet-sitter Belinda Blake is no stranger to dealing with wild animals, but she’s wary when the owner of the Greenwich, Connecticut, preserve asks her to help out with her “fluffy darlings.” Her caution seems justified on her very first day, when she discovers a tour guide—dead, bloodied, and surrounded by wolves in the enclosure.
Was it death by predator or something more sinister? The body count rises, but something’s not adding up. As she gets to know the rescued wolves and wolf-dog hybrids better, Belinda realizes that her human colleagues are not above suspicion. With help from her own “pack”—her pregnant sister, Red the chauffeur/bodyguard, and hunky farmer Jonas—Belinda is hot on the killer’s tail, but if she doesn’t find him soon, he’ll do more than muzzle her to keep the truth from escaping.
And I thought
A super fast good read.  Although Wolf in Sheep's Clothing is the second in this series and is toted as a stand alone I think the reader might benefit from and  enjoy this one a little better by reading the first book Belinda Blake and the Snake In The Grass

There are a few characters that are part of the cast that are friends, boyfriends, and other characters that are a part of Belinda's inner circle that are not really developed in Wolf in Sheep's Clothing.

I was left wondering why Belinda live in the carriage house of a mansion and her relationship with the owners.  When Belinda gets a job offer she ends up being taken to the interview and ultimately
by the driver while her car is in the shop.   Red the driver is a bit over protective of Belinda and let's his fears known when she
works at the Wolf refuge.  Especially when one her first day one of the workers is killed most likely by the wolves.

When another worker is found dead only a few days later Belinda begins to wonder if the police detective might be involved and begins her own sleuthing.

I enjoyed the setting around the wolf sanctuary.  The story/plot kept me interested to the end.  I was anxious to find out who was setting up the wolves to take the fall.

As everything works out in the end and the bad guys is caught the author leaves the reader in a bit of a cliff hanger as the police detective suggests to Belinda that she become a detective.

And so will Belinda leave her pet sitting business?
